It all started when…

as a child, Leo Jimenez, founder and owner of Leo’s Electric Automation Inc., would repeatedly take apart his RC cars to understand how they ran. His fascination with electricity began and over the years, expanded and deepened.

In 2005, after years of working as a journeyman, Leo decided to venture into electrical contracting business on his own. As a native to the Tahoe area he fully understood the makeup of the construction industry in the region. Coupled with his passion and ingenuity for electrical work, Leo had a solid foundation to begin Leo’s Electric.

He had worked as an electrician for many years prior but always sought to grow his own company and team. Leo’s Electric was born as a small electrical contracting company. Over the years, as the industry of electrical began to shift and expand, so did the company.

Leo’s Electric Automation Inc. has since grown to 10 employees and encompasses lighting design, window coverings, audio, video, and the latest electrical technology. As the company expanded, the name came to reflect these changes, shifting from Leo’s Electric to Leo’s Electric Automation Inc.

Leo has continuously pushed the company, the team, and their performance to be above the rest. Keeping up with the latest technology and maintaining the highest quality of work are priorities the company consistently strives to provide.
